    • A valve apparatus includes a first base block having flow passages formed therein, a second base block and a control block. By connecting together side surfaces of the blocks so that the surfaces mutually oppose one another, a manifold formed in the interior of each of the blocks is configured and connected, and valves are installed internally in the first base block and the second base block. Further, gaskets are gripped between each of the interconnected parts, wherein the gaskets are held in a state of being flush with or protruding with respect to outer surfaces of the blocks that are positioned on both sides of the gaskets.

    • Applicants' teachings relate to a system and apparatus to synchronize a plurality of hydraulically actuated components. In various embodiments of applicants' teachings, for example, but not limited to, in an automotive vehicle lift rack, a system and apparatus are disclosed to synchronize the platforms of the lift so that they are coplanar, and in some embodiments, maintained in a generally level configuration. The system comprises a hydraulic fluid reservoir, and at least two hydraulically actuated components in fluid communication by a first fluid flow path with the hydraulic fluid reservoir. Moreover, in accordance with various embodiments of applicants' teachings, a discharge valve is provided, the discharge valve in selective fluid communication by a second fluid flow path with a hydraulic fluid reservoir and the hydraulically actuated components. Moreover, in accordance with various embodiments of applicants' teachings, the system further comprises a control unit responsive to relative displacement of the at least two hydraulically actuated components. The control unit to selectively control the discharge valve, so that in response to the relative displacement of the at least two hydraulically actuated components the control unit activates the discharge valve to allow at least a portion of the hydraulic fluid to flow away by the second fluid flow path from at least one of the hydraulically actuated components and to synchronize the hydraulically actuated components.

    • A compressed air system servicing device consists of a plurality of functional modules, adapted to be placed in a row, of which at least one part is able to be modularly configured. These functional modules respectively comprise a uniform basic pneumatic block (10), which on two parallel outer walls (11) possesses connection means (12) for the production of pneumatic connections on placing them in line. At least two of the remaining outer wall of the basic pneumatic block (10) possess interfaces for connection with functional blocks (13, 16, 20 and 21), at least one of the interfaces being designed to cooperate with different functional blocks. Accordingly using a relatively small number of block elements functional modules may be configured in any desired manner in various different way so that production and stock holding costs may be substantially reduced.

    • A control apparatus is provided for operating six hydraulic valves from two different positions. The control apparatus is particularly suitable for operating the hydraulic controls of a six function trash loader. First and second three-function joysticks are mounted at the first position, and third and fourth three-function joysticks are mounted at the second position. A first set of three rotatable rods extends between the first and third joysticks, and a second set of three rotatable rods extends between the second and fourth joysticks. Each joystick includes a handle which is movable along a first axis for rotating a first rod of one of the sets, along a second axis for rotating a second rod of the set, and about a third axis for rotating a third rod of the set. A crank arm on each of the six rods is connected to one of the six hydraulic valves so that rotation of each of the rods operates one of the valves.
