The polyurethane can be formed from the reaction of at least one isocyanate selected from the group consisting of diisocyanates, polyisocyanates, and combinations thereof, and one or more isocyanate-reactive monomers. The one or more isocyanate-reactive monomers can comprise at least one polyol and a first isocyanate-reactive monomer which includes one or more isocyanate-reactive functional groups and a moiety configured to associate with the absorptive filler.

摘要： In a method for forming a multilayer coated film including an intermediate coated film, a base coated film, a clear coated film and an adhesive layer, an intermediate coating composition (X) contains a hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin (A), a melamine resin (B), a pyrazole-blocked polyisocyanate compound (C), a pigment (D), and an organic solvent (E), a content ratio (B/C) is from 5/35 to 20/15 in terms of solid content ratio, and a concentration (PWC) of the pigment (D) is from 40% to 60%. The cured intermediate coated film has, at 20° C., an elongation at break of 40% to 90%, a Young's modulus of 600 MPa to 1,600 MPa, and a Tukon hardness of 3 to 9.

摘要： The present invention is directed towards a method of stabilizing thermosetting foam blends such as polyurethane poly blends containing a blowing agent with negligible (low or zero) ozone-depletion and low GWP based upon unsaturated halogenated hydroolefins in which one or more ester is added to the thermosetting foam blends. The thermosetting foam blends typically in clued: polyol(s); surfactant(s); catalyst(s); flame retardent(s); organic acid inhibitor(s)/stabilizer(s); carbon dioxide generating agent(s). The addition of the one or more esters to the thermosetting foam blends was unexpectedly found to result in blends which were stable over time and the resulted foams have a uniform cell structure with little or no foam collapse.

摘要： An aromatic polyester polyol having a nominal functionality of at least about 2 is produced from the esterification reaction of a phthalate-based composition containing less than 50 mol % of ortho-phthalic acid or phthalic anhydride, with a hydroxyl material containing at least 20 mol % of at least one branched aliphatic diol, and optionally transesterified with at least one hydrophobic material. The polyester polyol has improved shelf-life stability as demonstrated by the polyester polyol remaining clear and homogeneous for at least 6 months when stored at room temperature. The polyester polyol, when incorporated into a polyol foam-forming resin composition in an amount of at least 40 wt %, results in polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams that exhibit low smoke and weight loss upon burning conditions.

摘要： An embodiment of a closed-cell polymeric rigid foam may be made using a one-shot method and a reaction system that includes a hydrofluoroalkene physical blowing agent and a polyol mixture having an aminic polyol. The hydrofluoroalkene blowing agent has 3 to 5 carbon atoms and a boiling point between 10° C. and 40° C. at 1 atmosphere pressure. Embodiments of rigid foams may have high closed cell content and are particularly well suited for thermal insulation.

摘要： A foamable composition for polyurethane foam is provided which advantageously improves heat insulating properties, a long-term stability, and a dimensional stability of a polyurethane foam that is produced by using carbon dioxide as a blowing agent. Further, a polyurethane foam which has excellent heat insulating properties is provided by foaming and curing the foamable composition for polyurethane. In the production of the polyurethane foam in which carbon dioxide is used in the foaming, a polyol component is used which includes a phenolic resin polyol that is obtained by adding at least one alkylene oxide to a phenolic novolak resin, and an aromatic amine polyol that is obtained by adding at least one alkylene oxide to an aromatic diamine such that the total amount thereof is 60% or more by mass, based on the total polyol component.

摘要： This invention relates to the process of preparation and application of a plural component, fast cure phenolic/polyurea elastomer coating co-polymer system. The disclosed coating system is prepared from the reaction of an isocyanate component and an amine terminated resin blend component. Each of the two components may individually or both contain a phenolic resin based product as part of the active hydrogen donation for the reaction with the isocyanate. These phenolic/polyurea co-polymers are characterized as having significantly improved chemical resistance and lower moisture vapor transmission through the coating system over conventional polyurea elastomer coating systems, thus making the coatings suitable for highly corrosive environments.
