摘要： To improve temperature distribution of fluid in a flow channel of a microfluidic device in which a resistive element disposed in substrate as that in which the channel is formed is heated to control the temperature in accordance with resistance of the element, provided is a microfluidic device including: a substrate; a flow channel disposed in the substrate for flowing through fluid therein; a first resistive element for primarily heating the fluid; and multiple second resistive elements for supplementarily heating the fluid, the elements being disposed at positions different from position where the first element is disposed. A microfluidic apparatus operating the device stores a relational expression between a temperature of the fluid and resistance of the first element, and a fixed value of a ratio between a heat energy input into the first and second element, and controls the temperature in accordance with the expression and the value.

摘要： In one example disclosed in the current application, by supplying just enough heat to the channel walls to replace the reaction heat removed during the reaction, a reactor exhibits tighter temperature tolerances with respect to the desired reaction temperature. In other words, the surface temperature can be more closely matched to the desired reaction temperature. Also, having a design where the channels can be scaled in both geometry and number allows control of the rate of mass transport through the channels to minimize unwanted side reactions.

摘要： The invention generally provides systems and methods for producing a chemical product. In certain embodiments, the invention provides systems that include a chemical product production unit. The chemical production unit includes a plurality of microfluidic modules configured to be fluidically coupled to each other in an arrangement that produces a chemical product from an input of a plurality of starting reagents that react with each other due to conditions within the plurality of microfluidic modules through which the starting reagents flow. The system also includes a droplet dispenser fluidically coupled to the chemical product production unit that forms and dispenses droplets of the chemical product.

摘要： An evaporator and concentrator in a reactor and loading system concentrates ions such as fluoride ions in some embodiments, and evaporates micro- to milliliter volumes of liquid solutions including intermediate and final product in other embodiments. It efficiently re-dissolves the evaporated solution generating a product, which is transferred to an external system as desired. The external system may be a micro-fluidic reactor system and/or loading system. The evaporator/concentrator has an input port for introducing liquids and solids. A capillary tube introduces gas, such as nitrogen gas, into a volume of solution contained within a v-vial, which produces an evaporating micro bubbler. A concentric tube, surrounding the capillary tube in some embodiments, introduces gas into the empty volume above the solution inside the v-vial, which is referred to as a vapor sweep. The vapor sweep assists in removing the evaporated solution from the v-vial through a vacuum tube.

First and second chemical compound supply sections and a mixture discharge section are formed on the upstream and downstream sides of the labeling agent solidification section, respectively.
