摘要： A padlock has a shackle having a long leg and a short leg, and a spindle with an extended member, the extended member engaged with the long leg of the shackle for movement together. The padlock also has a cylinder to receive a key for key operation, a stack of clutches and a plurality of dials engageable with the clutches to form a combination code, each clutch having an opening to receive the spindle. When the padlock is unlocked by the combination code, the spindle is engaged with the clutch stack for movement together along with the shackle. When the padlock is unlocked by the key operation, the spindle is disengaged with the clutch stack, allowing the spindle and the shackle to move upward relative to the clutch stack.

摘要： A zipper lock has two locking members to secure two zipper pulls of a suitcase and a control plate to cause the locking member to disengage from the zipper pulls. The lock has a latch engaged with the control plate, the latch positionable in a first latch position when the lock is in a locked mode or in a second latch position to open the lock. The lock has a combination mechanism using dials and clutches to control the movement of a spindle which allows the latch to move the second latch position when the arrangement of the dials matches the correct combination code. The lock also has a key-overriding mechanism using a cylinder to cause the movement of the latch when a correct key is used to turn the cylinder to open the lock. A recovery mechanism allows a user to recover the lost combination code.

摘要： An electronic combination lock has a touch panel for combination code entry. If the combination code matches a preset code, a solenoid in energized to unlock the lock, allowing a user to pull up the shackle to open the lock. The user can be a master user, a regular user or a temporary user with each type of users having different level of access. For example, the master user can have unlimited number of times to use the master combination code, while a temporary user has only a limited number of times to use its temporary code as designated by the master user. In one embodiment, the lock can be opened with a key. In another embodiment, the user can enter the combination code from a detached electronic device.

摘要： A dual locking padlock having a code locking mechanism and an overriding mechanism is disclosed. The housing has a top body as its top portion, a stack of dials and a stack of clutches mounted on a middle portion and a bottom portion having holes to receive screws from the top body for securing the housing. Dials are engagingly mounted on the clutches and only rotatable relative to the clutch when the lock is in the opened mode for changing the combination code. The housing has a spindle having a channel to store the heel of a shackle. The spindle's upward movement allows the shackle to be pulled upward to unlock the padlock. The spindle is allowed to move upward either when a correct combination code is used or when a key activates the overriding mechanism. With the overriding mechanism, the padlock can also be opened with a key.

摘要： A zipper lock has a combination locking system defined by dials and clutches and a key overriding mechanism. The lock has a pole to receive zipper pullers and a movable cover plate to block the pole when the lock is in the locked mode. The lock has a control plate with release slots. The control plate can be shifted only if the dials are set to the correct combination or when a correct key is used to turn a tumbler cylinder. The cover plate is engaged with a latch having a latch finger. When the lock is in the locked mode, the latch finger is blocked by the control plate, restricting movement of the latch. When the lock is in the unlocked mode, the latch finger can be moved into a release slot, allowing the latch and cover plate to move in order to clear the pole.

The shackle may be retained in its closed position within the housing by a latch that is operatively connected to a key locking mechanism and a combination locking mechanism. The latch may be disengaged from the shackle so that the shackle may be placed into the open position when the key locking mechanism is placed in an unlocked orientation or the combination locking mechanism is placed in an unlocked configuration. The key locking mechanism may include a cylinder configured for operative engagement with the latch, and the combination locking mechanism may include a button configured for operative engagement with the latch and a spindle configured to restrict movement of the button. In the unlocked configuration of the combination locking mechanism, the combination used for the combination locking mechanism may be reset and/or reconfigured.
