摘要： By providing two separate and independent locking systems formed in a single padlock, with both locking systems independently enabling a single shackle latching member to be controllably activated for allowing the single shackle to be released and/or lockingly engaged, an effective, easily produced, multi-purpose padlock is achieved. In the preferred embodiment, a single housing and shackle assembly are employed and constructed for enabling the shackle to be released from locked engagement with the shackle latching member by using either a rotatable dial combination construction or a key activating tumbler construction. In this way, a dual locking and releasing padlock is achieved which virtually eliminates the difficulties typically encountered with known, prior art lock configurations.

The chain lock includes a locking body having a combination locking device and a novel locking mechanism disposed therein, a chain or a flexible wire having at a first end an obturator embedded into the locking body and controlling the activity of the locking mechanism in cooperation with the combination locking device and a plug at a second end of the chain which is lockable by a latch and ejectable from the locking body by an ejector when the plug is unlockable. The obturator is operated as a hiding key for enhancing the anti-burglar effect of the chain lock.

摘要： A combination padlock includes: a plurality of magnifying lenses juxtapositionally mounted on a lock body of the padlock with each lens projectively corresponding to each numeral formed on each dial so that the numeral formed on each dial can be magnified by each magnifying lens for a clear reading by a user's eyes; and a hasp pivotally mounted in a side portion of the lock body of the combination padlock having an arcuate hook member operatively lockable with a hasp socket recessed in a projecting portion extending upwardly sidewardly from the lock body in an opposite direction of the arcuate hook member of the hasp for locking an object or a staple within the hasp with a wider angular movement of the hasp. The lock can be conveniently operated with one hand to not only rotate the dials and lock and unlock the hasp, but also to move the hasp into its fully open or locked positions. The magnifying lenses are integrally formed with a transparent cover assembly which is locked around the lock body by a portion of the hasp.

摘要： An adjustable combination numerical lock comprising a hook, a first tray, a second tray, a contact chip, two or more number dials, springs and driving rolls. The number dials, the springs, and the driving rolls are respectively set in the second tray, and the hook wedged with the contact chip is put on the two trays. When this lock is locked, the sliding strips do not engage with the recesses of the driving rolls, thereby allowing the driving rolls to rotate with the number dials. Therefore, the sliding strips will be prevented from sliding up if the combination is off. When the numbers are put into the right combination, the lock is opened and the sliding strips are partly engaged with the recesses so that the hook can be pulled up. The combination of the lock can be changed (while in opening combination) by turning the hook right 90 degrees and then pulling it up so that the sliding strips are completely engaged with the recesses. This keeps the driving rolls from rotating with the number dials. Then, the number dial may be adjusted to a new combination by pressing the hook down and returning the hook to its original position.
