摘要： A superfine electronic device is disclosed, which is constructed by atomic fine lines having a structure in which a plurality of atoms are arranged on one or a plurality of straight lines, in a ring shape or on curves with a size of atomic level, and which includes elements for doping electrons and holes. Using these atomic fine lines, it is possible to integrate semiconductor elements utilizing pn junctions at an atomic level with a high density. A groove having a sufficiently small size is formed in an insulating film disposed on a substrate. Then, atoms or molecules are supplied on the substrate and in the groove, which and are heated to a temperature sufficiently high for moving the atoms or molecules during or after the supply thereof to form a quantum fine line at edge portions of the groove.

摘要： When a radio communication is made between a predetermined base station and a communication terminal, the communication terminal is allowed to make a communication if a predetermined registration processing is made. If the above registration processing is not executed, then predetermined functions other than a communication function of the communication terminal are limited. Moreover, when a predetermined operation mode is set by an operation means, at least a transmission processing at a radio communication means is stopped and an execution of predetermined functions other than the radio communication processing is not restricted. Thus, when a communication terminal apparatus incorporates therein other functions than an audio reproducing function, operation of such function can be limited properly. Moreover, when other functions such as an audio reproducing function are incorporated into a communication terminal apparatus, operations of the functions thus incorporated can be limited properly and the communication functions can be stopped properly.

摘要： An electron beam lithography apparatus is disclosed which has an aperture plate provided with an aperture including an array of repeated unit patterns and an ordinary aperture of a rectangular shape. A region free of the influence of a proximity effect is delineated using the former aperture, and a region affected by the proximity effect is delineated using the latter aperture. The number of repeated unit patterns included in the former aperture is determined considering the number of repeated unit patterns included in a pattern array to be delineated on a substrate. Thereby, the number of electron beam shots is reduced. A plurality of apertures having slightly different aperture widths may be provided for always keeping a pattern line width constant.

摘要： The present invention propose an broadcast reception system, wherein a program reception control apparatus is connected to Internet via a network interface to which a terminal apparatus carrying by a user. The broadcast received at an antenna is selected by a tuner, A/D converted, compressed at a compression unit, and encrypted at an encryption unit. The encrypted data from the encryption unit changed to packets at packet creation unit, and transmitted to the terminal apparatus via the network interface.
