    • A silver halide color photographic material comprising a reflective support having thereon a yellow dye image forming silver halide emulsion layer, a magenta dye image forming silver halide emulsion layer and a cyan dye image forming silver halide emulsion layer, wherein said yellow dye image forming layer, magenta dye image forming layer and cyan dye image forming layer exhibit a maximum spectral sensitivity in the range of 400 to 490 nm, 530 to 570 nm and 660 to 720 nm, respectively, said silver halide emulsion of said cyan dye image forming layer comprises a silver chloride, silver bromochloride or silver bromochloroiodide emulsion having a silver chloride content of 90 mol % or more with a maximum spectral sensitivity given by J-band absorption of a compound represented by the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein the variables are described in the specification.

    • A color reversal photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer, an organic compound and colloid grains of a metal or metal sulfide or silver halide grains the surface of which is previously fogged. The silver halide emulsion layer includes fine grains of silver halide particles having a particle size of 0.3.mu. or less. The fine grain particles are present in the emulsion in an amount in the range of about 30% to about 95% based on the total number of silver halide grains in the emulsion. The silver halide emulsion also includes coarse grains having a particle size of more than 0.3.mu.. The organic compound has a solubility product constant of 10.sup.-14 or less when forming a salt with a silver ion. By utilizing the organic compound in combination with the particular fine grain silver halide particles it is possible to obtain a material which has improved tone reproduction properties in high exposure areas and also provide a material with a wide exposure lattitude.

    • There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material and a method for forming a color photographic image by processing said color photographic material with a color developer substantially free from sulfite.     • A silver halide color photographic material comprises at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a substantially iodide free silver chlorobromide or silver chloride grain of which the silver chloride content is at least 90 mol. % and a color coupler. The color coupler is at least one compound represented by formula (I) or (II).     • A method for forming an image, which comprises developing a silver halide color photographic material with a color developer containing at least one aromatic primary amine color developing agent, wherein said silver halide color photographic material comprises a silver chloride or silver chlorobromide emulsion having an average silver bromide content of not more than 10 mol % and containing substantially no iodide, with a mean grain size of an emulsion contained in the blue-sensitive layer thereof being controlled to 0.9 .mu.m or smaller, silver halide to coupler ratio in said blue-sensitive layer ranges from 2 to 5 as a molar ratio, and said color developer contains from 3.5.times.10.sup.-2 to 1.5.times.10.sup.-1 mol/l of a chloride ion and from 3.0.times.10.sup.-5 to 1.0.times.10.sup.-3 mol/l of a bromide ion. The method achieves rapid processing to provide an image having high maximum density and low density without causing streaky pressure marks even when processing is carried out with an automatic developing machine or without a variation of photographic characteristics, particularly gradation in low density areas, occurring even when processing is carried out continuously.
