    • The present invention relates to an actuator for an electro-hydraulic braking system of the ‘brake-by-wire’ type comprised of a hydraulic pressure generator or master brake cylinder and a travel simulator, with said master brake cylinder including at least one piston that is operable by an actuating pedal, and wherein a device for detecting a driver's deceleration wish is provided, said device cooperating with said piston and being at least partly arranged in a master brake cylinder housing. To optimize the assembly in terms of packaging, production costs, weight, and function, the present invention discloses that the device for detecting a driver's deceleration wish comprises an annular housing embracing the piston in a radial direction and accommodating signal receiving elements which cooperate with signal transmitting elements mounted on the piston surface.

    • The present invention discloses an electromechanically operable disc brake for automotive vehicles which is comprised of a floating caliper and an actuating unit arranged on the caliper. The actuating unit includes an electric motor which, by the intermediary of a threaded roller pinion with return of the threaded rollers, readjusts an actuating element in which one of two friction linings which are mounted displaceably in the brake caliper is moved into engagement with a brake disc. Especially with a view to minimizing the influence of disturbing forces and moments, the spindle of the threaded roller pinion is drivable by the electric motor and the actuating element is formed by the threaded nut of the threaded roller pinion according to the present invention.

    • The present invention relates to an adjustable pedal device including at least two pedals whose initial position is variable. A pedal device is disclosed wherein a control member is rotatably articulated at the pedal lever for the brake, while the lever is rotatable about a third axis. It is disadvantageous in the prior art construction that a second pedal, particularly an accelerator pedal, cannot be simultaneously adjusted according to said principle because the forces acting upon the individual pedals are not effective in the same direction. The invention relates to a pedal device which has a simple design and in which the initial position of the mentioned two pedals can be adjusted in a substantially uniform manner, the two pedals being mounted in a twistable mounting support while being rotated about axes that are offset one relative to the other.
