    • Disclosed is a non-rigid vinyl chloride polymer composition comprising 100 weight parts of a vinyl chloride polymer resin, 5-50 weight parts of a graft copolymer modifier and 10-300 weight parts of a plasticizer. The graft copolymer modifier is obtained by graft-polymerizing 25-150 weight parts of an alkyl ester of methacrylic acid having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group or a monomer mixture composed of at least more than 50% by weight of said alkyl ester of methacrylic acid onto 100 weight parts of an acrylic elastomer having a swelling degree of 5 to 25 so that the grafting ratio is not larger than 50%. The acrylic elastomer is obtained by polymerizing a mixture comprising an alkyl ester of acrylic acid having 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group or a monomer mixture composed of at least 50% by weight of said alkyl ester of acrylic acid, and a polyfunctional crosslinking agent. The non-rigid vinyl chloride polymer composition has excellent weatherability and impact resistance, and exhibits a good molding processability.

    • An automatic flight control apparatus for a rotary wing aircraft for controlling the flight condition by utilizing a signal representing the air speed of the aircraft which is added to a bias signal corresponding to the attitude of the aircraft in hovering condition, which added signal is used as a "trim value" signal representing the attitude of the aircraft in a balanced relation to air speed at every instance. A signal representing the difference between said trim value signal and the attitude signal is used as an attitude/speed error signal and is added with the signal representing the difference between the ground speed and the set speed for performing control of the aircraft condition. Also, in order to provide true air speed utilizing a detecting means of the Pitot tube type, when the flight speed is below a predetermined value, a ground speed signal is added with a stored signal representing the difference between the air and ground speeds and the added signal is used instead of the air speed signal to overcome the inaccuracy of the Pitot tube at low speeds.

    • An automatic flight controller for rotary wing aircraft having a setting apparatus for setting the device for the distance from a starting distance signal, a speed signal, and a remaining distance signal corresponding to the remaining distance from the starting spot to the hovering spot whereby the flight of the aircraft can be controlled in accordance with the remaining distance signal. A ground speed signal from a ground speed detecting device is integrated to obtain a signal corresponding to the flight distance from the starting spot and a remaining distance signal is then produced which is equal to the difference between the starting distance signal and the flight distance signal, and, through a function amplifier, a reference speed signal is obtained which corresponds to the remaining distance to be flown at every instance. This reference speed signal is compared with the actual ground speed to provide a speed difference signal which is used as a control signal for controlling the speed of the aircraft. The automatic flight controller may also provide an altitude control system for controlling the collective pitch control mechanism to obtain a desired altitude.
