    • A multi-well filtration apparatus is provided that has a housing, a multi-well filtration plate, and a pivotable member. The pivotable member secures the multi-well filtration plate to the housing and is associated with a resilient member. When the multi-well filtration plate is pressed against the pivotable member, it pivots, and the resilient member compresses to allow the pivotable member to instantaneously engage the multi-well filtration plate to secure it to the housing. The pivotable member can quickly release the multi-well filtration plate by simply exerting a force on a surface of the pivotable member.

    • An electrical connector for non-prestripped wires has a lower housing part (1) with wire guides, each comprising a double channel consisting of an upper introduction channel (47) having a cross-section suited for the introduction of a wire (7) and therebelow a parallel clamping channel (49) connected to the introduction channel by a constricted transition slit (51). A projection provided at an upper housing forces the wire at least partly into and through the transition slit (51) and into a recess (37) in the lower housing part (1) upon telescoping of the upper housing part into the lower housing part, thereby clamping the wire to strain relieve it.

    • A connector for insulated electrical wires in which a body of insulating material has a wire connection well formed into one surface and receives a slotted, flat plate, electrical contact element. A wire retention well is formed adjacent the wire connection well and is joined to the wire connection well by a passageway aligned with the slot in the contact element. The passageway is constricted to engage the insulation of a wire forced into the slot of the contact element in the wire connection well through the passageway and out of the wire retention well to electrically connect the wire to the contact element while providing strain relief for the wire in the passageway.
