    • In one aspect, a needle assembly is provided herein which includes a hub; a needle fixed to the hub, the needle having a proximal end and a distal end, the distal end formed for insertion into a patient; and, a body disposed on the hub so as to be moveable relative thereto, the body having a distal end with an aperture formed therein configured to permit passage therethrough of the needle. The body is releasably retainable in a first position on the hub where the distal end of the needle extends distally a first distance from the distal end of the body. Also, the body is retainable in a second position on the hub where the distal end of the needle extends distally a second distance from the distal end of the body, the second distance being less than the first distance. The hub is displaceable proximally relative to the body to urge the body from the first position to the second position. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a needle assembly is provided which may provide a stop for a needle injection to a first depth, with the stop being adjustable to permit the injection to be conducted at a shallower, second depth.

    • A pen needle dispenser having a cover rotatably mounted on a circular shaped container having a plurality of cavities, with each cavity dimensioned to receive a pen needle assembly with or without shields. The cover includes a slot that is rotated into alignment with one of the cavities in the container to provide the user with access to one unused shielded pen needle and thereby permits the pen needle to be mounted on a medication delivery pen. After use the used unshielded pen needle is returned to and locked in the cavity. Then, the cover is rotated until the slot is aligned with another cavity containing the next unused shielded pen needle to be used during the next injection. The pen needle dispenser prevents the cover from rotating the slot back to cavities containing used pen needles.

    • Apparatus for manipulating at least two fluid flow circuits comprising a manifold, and a valve stem assembly with at least two stages in series, with each stage comprising a valve relief for communicating with at least two inlet and outlet ports, and a seal for blocking off or isolating a port. The apparatus of the invention allows at least two fluid flow circuits to be connected to the manifold in a parallel configuration to operate in a redundant manner. If the conduit or a fluid control or monitoring device within a circuit fails or requires maintenance, that particular circuit may be isolated from the process flow system by the multiple flow directing capability of the apparatus. Use of the apparatus of the invention enables the removal of valve devices or conduit in a circuit for repair or replacement without interrupting the on-line process fluid flow.

    • An apparatus for storing and dispensing a test strip includes a container configured to store a radial array of test strips. The container maintains appropriate environmental conditions, such as humidity, for storing the test strips. The container has a plurality of radially extending slots formed by a plurality of dividing walls, and each slot is sized to receive a single test strip. A rotatably positionable cover is carried by the container for covering the plurality of radially extending slots. The cover includes an opening, which, when the cover rotates, aligns with one of the slots at a time to allow removal of a single test strip located within the respective slot. Accordingly, the unused test strips remain free of contaminants such as naturally occurring skin oils on a user's hand.
