摘要： The present invention relates to a health monitoring device for measuring blood or tissue indicators and a strip cassette. The device comprises a body having first and second openings, a piercing means being connected to the body and having a piercing head, the piercing means being arranged to extend from the first opening and cockable and releasable for piercing the skin with the piercing head, and a space into which a number of sensor strips can be arranged so that the strips can be brought out from the body one at a time. The device further comprises a shutter that is functionally connected to the body and has a first position arranged to tightly close the first and second openings, and a second position for allowing one sensor strip to be pushed from the first opening into sampling position and for exposing the first and second openings.

A blood collecting puncture device has a blood collecting puncture device body removably incorporating a magazine for housing lancets for puncturing human skin. The blood collecting puncture device body has a first housing section for housing not-yet-used lancets and a second housing section for housing used lancets to be disposed of. When a rotor is rotated, individual lancets are sequentially conveyed on a one-by-one basis to a stock position, a puncture position, and a disposal position, and this causes a not-yet-used lancet to be housed in the first housing section and also causes a used lancet to be housed in the second housing section, so that the lancets are separately housed in spaces isolated from each other.

摘要： A lancet assembly includes a lancet, a lancet engaging part, and a lancet case housing the lancet and the lancet engaging part. In the lancet assembly of the present invention, the lancet engaging part and the lancet cap are disposed such that they are capable of making contact with each other. When the lancet engaging part is forced to move forward with respect to the lancet in a pricking direction, the lancet cap is pressed by the lancet engaging part, and thereby the bridging component is broken so that the lancet cap is separated from the lancet body. When the lancet engaging part is forced to further move forward, the separated lancet cap moves to the position off a pricking pathway of the pricking component within the lancet case.

摘要： A lancet is pressed against a puncture needle cartridge while fitting a puncture needle loading inlet of the lancet to the axis of a puncture needle on the puncture needle cartridge. In order to facilitate the operation, one of plural puncture needles, arranged in parallel, is tilted up from its initial position at a predetermined angle, and the puncture needle is guided into a puncture needle holding rod of the lancet. Simultaneously, the puncture needle is pressed up to a position where the rear end part of the needle pushes the bottom surface of a puncture needle loading chamber of the puncture needle holding rod, whereby the puncture needle is loaded. When discarding a used puncture needle, the puncture needle is inserted into a lancet guide member of the puncture needle cartridge, whereby the puncture needle is reliably captured to be discarded.

The lancet may have a needle, a body attached to the base of the needle, arm members attached to the body, and a tip cover attached to the arm members and slidably attached to the needle, wherein at least one of the tip cover and the body is selectively moveable between an operative configuration and a protective configuration. The lancing device may have a lancet holder having surfaces which retain the lancet. The method of loading a lancet may involve providing the lancet in a protective configuration and inserting the lancet into a lancet holder of the lancing device, such that the tip cover or the body is selectively moveable between an operative configuration and a protective configuration.

摘要： A lancing device includes a main housing 28 having in the forward upper end thereof a loading bay for receiving a capped lancet 12/20. The loading bay is closed by a cover 34 which is pivotally and slideably moveable in the housing. Closing the cover and then pushing it rearwardly causes the lancet body 12 to be pulled rearwardly clear of the cap 20 thereby exposing the lancet needle. Further rearward movement of the shifts the lancet cover into a battery position ready to be driven forwardly by a drive mechanism when fired.

Upon inserting a lancet structure into a lancet holder, a force which separates a lancet cover encapsulating the sharp tip portion of the pricking element from a lancet body is generated, and this force is allowed to act on the lancet cover and the lancet body to thereby expose, within the lancet holder, the sharp tip portion of the pricking element encapsulated by the lancet cover and to locate the opening of the lancet holder in front of the sharp tip portion of the pricking element.

摘要： A lancet assembly is disclosed which eliminates the need for removing a resin cover that covers a pricking element. When a lancet structure is inserted into a lancet holder, a force is applied so as to separate a lancet cover, that encloses a distal end of a pricking element, from a lancet body so that the distal end of the pricking element which has been enclosed by the lancet cover is exposed in the lancet holder, and the opening of the lancet holder is positioned in front of the distal end of the pricking element. The lancet structure has a trigger which launches the pricking element of which the distal end is exposed, when the lancet structure is continually pushed into the lancet holder.
