In addition, the reliability of the identification is increased, even when the occupant is out of position, by the provision of at least one reflector (9) per seat in or on an allocated seat-belt (6).

摘要： A communications system contains a base station (8) with a transmitter/receiver unit (10) for communication signals and a transmitter unit (14) for location interrogation signals; a response transmitter (20) with a transmitter/receiver unit (22) for the communication signals, and a receiver unit (26) for location interrogation signals. An interior space (2) which is located within the operating range of the communications system has walls (4) which are impermeable to one frequency range. The communication signals are transmitted and received in a frequency range to which the walls 4 are permeable. The location interrogation signals are transmitted in the frequency range to which the walls are impermeable.

摘要： A portable encoder transmits a response signal, which contains code information that is specific to the encoder (2). The code information contained in the received response signal is compared with reference code information in a receiving unit (4), which is located in the object and is connected to an evaluation unit (9). In addition, both the distance of the encoder (2) from the receiving unit (4) and the receiving level of the response signal are measured on the object side and the position of the encoder (2) is calculated from the measurements. This permits a differentiation to be made between the exterior and interior regarding the position of the encoder (2). Access is released and authorization is granted, only if the position of the encoder (2) is identified as permissible.

摘要： A known PASE system is significantly improved by the addition of a LF field, which is restricted to the interior of the motor vehicle, for the purpose of achieving highly reliable differentiation between the inside and outside of the motor vehicle. A LF signal in this field, in the form of a LF ping, is used as a control signal with the function of differentiating between the area inside and outside the motor vehicle and for awakening or activating a semi-active identification transmitter CID. In preferred embodiments, the LF ping itself is preferably not used for data transmission, which continues to be handled in the GHz band, so that the system as a whole also operates very rapidly.
