摘要： A device for painting a curved outer surface of an aircraft includes a paint applicator having a plurality of spray painting heads each assigned to one of a plurality of different base color supply units containing one of polyurethane aircraft paint and ink. The device further includes a spatially adjustable positioning device configured to move the paint applicator relative to the curved outer surface and at least one sensor device configured to determine a three-dimensional geometry of the curved outer surface. The device also includes a control unit configured to coordinate a movement of the positioning device with a paint output of the paint applicator, wherein the control unit is configured to alternately activate each of the plurality of spray painting heads so as to produce a picture motif so as to derive a two-dimensional driving geometry based on the three-dimensional geometry.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for applying information onto a surface of an aircraft, wherein the information is applicable in variable locations and is modifiable, comprising the following features: a) a pad unit comprising at least one pad which is made of a silicone-free rubber having a shore hardness suitable for the operating conditions of the device and which is hollow on the inside, at least in part; b) at least one hand grip; c) a press-on mechanism for the pad unit; d) at least one support which rests against the surface; and e) a housing; wherein a printing pattern is formed on the at least one pad with a polyurethane lacquer containing at least two components. By applying varying printing patterns to the pads, any combination of characters can be stamped on. Moreover, the device configured as a hand-held tool can be operated by a user in variable locations. The pads are wetted fully automatically in a wetting station. Once the pads, arranged in the pad unit, have been wetted with printing ink, the pad unit is placed in the device, by means of which the marking is performed on-site. The printing process is effected by operating a hand lever, causing the pads to be brought into contact with the surface, and the information or, as the case may be, the technical coding to be applied onto said surface.Preferably, a highly resilient multi-component lacquer (PUR lacquer) is used as the printing ink, enabling a substantially longer service life of the marking as compared to conventional labellings comprising varnished self-adhesive labels.

Accelerated drying of the polymer, in particular the paint layer thereby becomes possible from an upper side of the component to an upper side of the paint layer.
