摘要： In the first display mode, a first tone converting circuit and a second tone converting circuit of a control LSI divide one frame period of an input image signal into a plurality of sub-frame periods to perform output to a display panel, thus realizing image display performed by time-division driving (pseudo-impulse driving). In the second display mode, the control LSI directly outputs an input image signal to the display panel, thus realizing image display performed by hold driving. In at least one embodiment, switching between the first display mode and the second display mode is performed by changing output of an output data selector according to a mode switching signal. This realizes an image display apparatus which effectively obtains the effect of suppressing blurring of a moving image and alleviates the problem of flickers caused by pseudo-impulse driving.

An encrypting section generates scrambled data by inserting the inversion signal in the intermediate data at a bit position. A data-receiving device removes the inversion signal from the scrambled data, and restores the input data based on the inversion signal.

摘要： The invention provides an electronic circuit unit that is suitable for miniaturization and excellent in high frequency characteristic. Capacitors and a wiring pattern are formed on an alumina substrate by means of thin film forming technique, and a part of the wiring pattern is served as the connection land for mounting a bare chip of a transistor. Among the capacitors, the top electrode of the capacitor is served also as a part of the connection land, and the bottom side collector electrode of the bare chip is connected to the connection land by use of conductive adhesive. Top electrodes of the residual capacitors are served as the bonding pad, and the base electrode and the emitter electrode on the top side of the bare chip are connected to the top electrodes of the respective capacitors by a wire.

摘要： To provide a docking station for a portable computer, which increases its heat radiation when the docking station is docked with the portable computer. A docking station is equipped with a fan unit at a back portion of a power supply unit within a station body, and a front surface of a connection portion with which a notebook PC is docked is provided with an air suction opening. Thereby, once the fan unit is driven, high temperature air is exhausted from a station body and the connection portion, then outside air is introduced from the suction opening to stimulate the cooling of the connection portion, and the heat which is transferred from a back side portion of the notebook PC to the connection portion is also dissipated there to stimulate the cooling of the notebook PC side.

摘要： A process and a device for expanding or contracting the end of a pipe are disclosed. First an ironing die or punch is put over or into the end of the pipe. Then the end of the pipe is expanded or contracted by a rod form expanding punch or a tube form reducing die. Then, with this punch or die still in place, the ironing die or punch is pulled over or through the end of the pipe, so as to pinch the wall of the pipe between itself and the punch or die, and thereby the wall of the pipe is ironed so as to release any strains that may have been caused in it by the expanding or contracting process. Thereby more accurate pipe ends can be formed simply and reliably.

A mechanism includes a cam for preventing the simultaneous locking of two adjacent push buttons, which has nearly a semicircular shape in cross section. The notches are alternately arrayed on opposite sides of the cam, and is thus urged to turn in the opposite directions when it is depressed by the neighboring push buttons.
