摘要： A process for the production of a solid dispersant for a hydraulically binding composition includes the steps of: providing at least one first polymer, which is a comb polymer having a polymer backbone comprising carboxyl groups; providing at least one second polymer, which is a condensate of, at least, an aromatic compound and formaldehyde; or a lignosulfonate; preparing an aqueous solution comprising the first and the second polymer; and spray-drying the aqueous solution to obtain the solid dispersant.

摘要： Dry mixes for hydraulic cement coatings for masonry, plastic insulating and dry wall substrates includes selective mineral aggregates, water reducer, and fine ceramic fibers, in various proportions for the different substrates. The ceramic fibers expand in the water of the applied coating and are trapped within the small recesses in the substrates. The ceramic fibers include different micron sizes in the range of 20 to 40 for masonry about 120 microns for plastic insulating substrates particularly foam plastic substrates. The fibers expand in the wet coating applied to substrates and remain in that state to bond to the substrates.

摘要： A novel construction board composition is disclosed comprising a unique combination of synthetic binders selected for their ability to establish a strengthened permanent bond in the final dry state for use in a construction board composition comprising primarily gypsum, and in a construction board composition comprising an expanded mineral such as Perlite which largely reduces the amount of gypsum over current gypsum construction board formulations, thus reducing the weight while maintaining the strength of the construction board structure. In a preferred embodiment, the lightweight, strengthened gypsum construction board of the present invention also comprises an optional covering veneer that is applied to provide increased strength, moisture resistance, and fire retardency, and the back paper top ply is treated to provide increased flexural strength.

摘要： Highly concentrated aqueous solutions of low viscosity of melamine/aldehyde resins are obtained by reacting to a precondensate in a first step melamine and an aldehyde in an alkaline medium and in the presence of water together with at least one compound (I), selected from the group, consisting of an alkali sulfite, an alkaline earth sulfite, an amino sulfonic acid, an amino carboxylic acid, a hydroxycarboxylic acid, a hydroxycarboxylic acid lactone, and a polyhydroxy carboxylic acid lactone, reacting then the thus obtained mixture in a second step with at least one compound (II), selected from the group, consisting of an amino carboxylic acid, a carboxylic acid, a hydroxy carboxylic acid, a hydroxy carboxylic acid lactone, a sulfamic acid, an amino sulfonic acid, a polyhydroxy carboxylic acid and a polyhydroxy carboxylic acid lactone, and then making alkaline the obtained resin solution by adding at least one basic compound (III). The resin solutions prepared according to this invention may be used as added substances for improving the quality of building materials containing inorganic binders.

摘要： The rate of hardening of a portland cement mix is accelerated by the addition of a low molecular weight, water-soluble hydroxylated adduct formed by reacting melamine and an aldehyde. The adduct is employed in an amount within the range of from about 0.01% to about 1.00%, preferably from about 0.2% to about 0.8% by weight of cement. The water content of the cement mix for a given consistency tends to be lowered by the incorporation of the adduct, providing an additional advantage from the practice of the invention. The adduct may be employed as a concentrated solution in water and may be used in combination with known set accelerating agents and with set retarding agents where reduction in water content is desired without appreciable change in the rate of set of the cement mix.
