    • PURPOSE: A frame connection device of a prefabricated building is provided to easily and rapidly perform an assembling work and to improve stability by reinforcing the strength of connection parts. CONSTITUTION: A frame connection device for a prefabricated building connects the connection parts of frames(12) through connection pieces(14,16), bolts(18), and nuts(20). The frames are composed of square pipes and are coupled to the connection pieces through recessed grooves(22) and protrusions(38,40). Support protrusions(30,32) of the connection pieces support the frames. One or more space maintaining support pipes(50) are formed between the connection pieces and are connected to the bolts and the nuts.

    • A fixing device for structure members, capable of preventing first and second engagement members from coming off from engagement grooves of a pair of structure members. First and second engagement members (4, 4') are held by a holding member (5) so as to be movable in the width direction of an engagement groove (A1). Between the first and second engagement members (4, 4') is provided a coil spring (7) urging the engagement members in the direction to separate the members from each other. In this state, each of the engagement ridges (4e, 4e) of the first and second engagement members (4, 4') individually faces the projection sections (A2, A3) of the one engagement groove (A1) and the projection sections of the other engagement groove, and the first and second engagement members (4, 4') are unable to come off from the one engagement groove (A1) and the other engagement groove.

    • A printing press racking board (100) and corner angle support (180), both preferably formed via injection molding processes. The racking board is a generally flat member having stiffening ribs (140) and inserts (142) attached to the bottom surface so that the board can exhibit the required stiffness. Hand holds and finger holes (125) are included to facilitate moving the racking board. The corner angle support has two members extending perpendicularly from each other. Each member has flanges which can support a racking board, and each member also includes stiffening ribs to increase stiffness. The racking board and supports are both lighter than the prior art, and yet both exhibit the required stiffness. Also, racking board and supports are less likely to splinter and fracture, and thus exhibit a longer user life.

    • A joint structure for joining a composite beam and a column is disclosed. The composite beam includes an I-beam and a pair of wooden members. The joint structure includes a mortise pin provided on the composite beam and protruding beyond an outer surface of one of the wooden members. The mortise pin is provided with a through-hole at a predetermined position. A bottom hole is provided at a bottom surface of the column in a manner that the bottom hole is adapted to receive the mortise pin. A horizontal hole is provided at a side face of the column at a position corresponding to the through-hole of the mortise pin. The composite beam is connected with the column by first inserting the mortise pin into the bottom hole of the column and then inserting a locking pin into the through-hole of the mortise pin and the horizontal hole of the column such that joint of the composite beam and the column is firmly secured. A method of joining a composite beam and a column is also disclosed.
