    • 본발명에서는, 냉각팬 기기의요구사항에적합한 3 종류의 SRM 즉 6/4, 12/8 및 8/6 SRM의구조내지설계에대하여제안하고이 중에서최적모터설계를제안하는것을목적으로한다. 이를위하여본 발명에서는이들모터들의성능평가를위하여인덕턴스, 토크, 및효율별로비교하였다. 본발명에서는 SRM의치수는소정의구속조건식(constraint equation)에의하여예측하였으며, 파라미터는정상상태의반복적인과정을통한성능에따라서소정의값을선택하여구하였다. 또한, 본발명에서는모터설계파라미터가모터성능에미치는영향을분석하였으며, 설계요구사항을특징화하기위해유한요소해석법 (FEA) 및변이분석법(transient analysis)을사용하였다. 이러한본 발명은차량용냉각팬모터의요구사항이정격출력, 600W, 토크 1.67Nm, 속도 2800rpm, 총무게, 1.7kg, 전류, 50A, 입력전압 12V, 효율 80%d인경우사용되는저전압팬 구동용 4상 8/6 SRM으로서, 고정자직격이 105mm, 회전자직경이 61mm, 스택길이 35mm, 공극 0.25mm, 위상의수 4, 고정자극 호 21°, 회전자극 호 23°, 축직경 10mm, 슬롯에리어 284 mm 인조건을충족하는것을특징으로한다. 본발명에서는자동차냉각팬 기기에적합한 6/4, 12/8, 8/6 SRM을설계하고시뮬레이션을수행한바, 시뮬레이션및 실험결과는이러한 3 종류의모터가기기요구에상응할수 있고그 중에서도고정자의극이 8개이고회전자의극이 6개인 4상의 8/6 SRM은동일한조건에서더 나은성능효율을가진다는것을알 수있었다.

    • A method for controlling a switched reluctance machine is provided to energize a phase to make flux in a stator bipolar when using unipolar flux in a rotor pole. A method for controlling a switched reluctance machine includes the step of: energising windings so that flux in each of rotor poles is unipolar for successive energisation of the windings when the rotor poles are in substantial alignment with energised stator poles. The switched reluctance machine has a stator(60) and a rotor(66). The stator defines the stator poles having the windings arranged with three separated energisable phases at least. The rotor defines the rotor poles. The machine has six stator poles, four rotor poles, and three separated energisable phases. An energisation pattern for each phase includes two pulses of energisation of one polarity and two pulses of energisation of the other polarity.

    • Control of an electrical device is provided to increase output of the electrical device by greatly expanding a flux triangle.     • The invention relates to a method for controlling a reluctance motor which comprises a rotor and a stator. The rotor comprises a plurality of rotor segments and the stator comprises a number which are independent from the coils, for example, six rotor segments for eight coils. The invention also relates to a control device which applies tension to a coil of a respective phase of the stator. According to the invention, at the moment when a first coil is excited, i.e. when a rotor segment is displaced towards the coil, the second coil which follows in the rotational direction of the rotor, can also be excited, and the position of the rotor is detected by sensors. The aim of the invention is to produce a method, wherein a reluctance motor can be controlled in an improved manner when running at a very high rotational speed and also when running at a very low rotational speed. According to the invention, the first coil is excited according to a predetermined, modifiable time frame and the subsequent coil is excited in the form of phase overlapping, within a time frame under the proviso that the position of the rotor is determined.
