    • PURPOSE: A plasma scrubber based on electrolysis is provided to efficiently treat harmful gas by increasing the raising rate of treating temperatures based on the supplying amounts of hydrogen and oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A plasma scrubber includes a main unit(10) and an electrolyzing unit. The main unit includes a first body part(11) and a second body part(50). Flame generated by a cathode electrode body(27) and an anode electrode body(33) and auxiliary gas combust harmful gas in the first body part. The second body part is in connection with the first body part. An inner chamber(51) is arranged in the second body part. Harmful gas combusted from the first body part is introduced into the inner chamber. Oxygen and hydrogen are obtained by electrolyzing water in the electrolyzing body and are supplied to the main unit as auxiliary gas.

    • PURPOSE: A plasma torch, which improves the disassembly efficiency of the wasted gas by passing the wasted gas through a high temperature of a plasma region, is provided to secure the high pyrolysis efficiency by increasing the contact area and time between plasma and peroxide fluoro carbon gas. CONSTITUTION: A plasma torch comprises an upper electrode(130), a cylindrical housing(140), a bottom electrode(150) and a wasted gas supply line(160). The inside wall of the upper part of the cylindrical housing is separated from the lower flank of the upper electrode as a predetermined distance in order to form an arc part. The bottom electrode is located in the lower part of the housing. The wasted gas supply line supplies gas to the arc chamber at the side of the upper electrode in a tangential direction.

    • PURPOSE: A method for removing air pollutants such as dioxin and furan from flue gas of municipal incinerator by non-thermal plasma process is provided, which is characterized in that hydrocarbons serving as an oxidant donor is fed to flue gas, and then high pulse voltage is applied to the flue gas to oxidize dioxin by corona discharge. CONSTITUTION: The method for removing air pollutants such as dioxin and furan from flue gas of municipal incinerator by non-thermal plasma process includes the steps of introducing flue gas to a plasma reactor (10); injecting hydrocarbons into the flue gas in an amount of 30 to 100 ppm, wherein the hydrocarbons are selected from the group consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbons including C3H6, C2H4, C4H8, C5H10, C2H6, C3H8, C4H10 and C5H12; applying high pulse voltage to the plasma reactor (10) to oxidize dioxin by corona discharge; collecting byproducts produced by dioxin oxidation with electrostatic precipitator; and exhausting the flue gas after dioxin removal.
