    • A method for manufacturing substituted decalin-6-ol-1-one derivatives are provided to prepare the derivatives with chemical yield after simple post treatment and to be suitable for agricultural chemical, pharmaceutically active component, flavor and aromatic substance, perfume, cosmetic and polymer. A method for manufacturing a compound represented by chemical formula 1 comprises the steps of: cyclizing a compound of chemical formula 2 in solution containing a compound 1-50 weight % of the following chemical formula 2 in the presence of a catalyst; and post-processing the reaction mixture by distilling it. In chemical formulas, R^1, R^2, R^3, and R^4 are independently hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or aryl. The catalyst is Bronsted acid, Lewis acid and/or conjugated Bronsted-Lewis acid.
