    • PURPOSE: A convertiplane is provided to obtain directional stability by balancing a lowering weight vector with the upward thrust vectors of rotors in a helicopter mode. CONSTITUTION: A convertiplane(1) comprises a pair of half-wings(3) and rotors(4). The rotors rotate on first axes(B) and incline on a second axis(C) with the first axes in between a helicopter mode and a flight mode. In the helicopter mode, the first axes are right angles to the longitudinal direction(A) of the convertiplane. In the flight mode, the first axes are in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the convertiplane. Each half-wing comprises an opening(8).

The leading edge extension unit has a leading edge extended board(210), a leading edge extended board drive motor(220) and leading edge extended board connection rod(230). The leading edge extended board enlarges the wing area and the code length of the wig craft. The trailing edge extension comprises a trailing edge of the wing body. The trailing edge extension unit has a trailing edge extended board(310), a trailing edge extended board drive motor(320) and a trailing edge extended board connection rod(330). The trailing edge extended board enlarges the wing area and the code length of the wig craft. The trailing edge extended board drive motor operates the leading edge extended board. The trailing edge extended board connection rod connects the leading edge extended board and leading edge extended board drive motor.
