    • Disclosed is a control valve in an anti-lock brake system for a car. In the control valve, the inner face of a cylinder(4) is higher than a rotary spool(10). A center caved line(45), a center protruded line(40), a decline-caved face(46) and a declined protruded face(45) are formed at the inner bases of the cylinder(4) and a rotary spool(10). Axis rods(42) and insertion holes(47) are formed on each center line of the center caved line(45), a center protruded line(40), a declined caved face(46) and a declined protruded face(45). The axis rods(42) are inserted into each insertion hole(47). A control pressure supplying path(21) is formed under the axis rods(42). A connection rod(31) is installed within a shaft(30) of a DC step motor(3). A connection hole(32) and a caved hole(33) are installed within the center of upper face of the rotary spool(10). The connection rod(31) is inserted into the connection hole(32). Thereby, control pressure to the rotary spool(10) is removed when the DC step motor(3) performing ABS is stopped, so that the performance and reliability of ABS function are improved.

    • The present invention relates to a control valve that supplies a hydraulic pressure to a wheel cylinder in an anti-lock brake system modulator. In the present invention, a rotary spool (25) is connected to a step or direct-current (DC) motor (21)'s shaft and rotates in a cylinder (22). Through holes (27, 28, 29), hexagonally divided when viewed from the plane, are provided to the spool. The through holes (27, 28) are on the same horizontal line, and races (30, 30-1) are provided to at both ends of one of the through holes (27, 28). Another hole (29) is on the different horizontal line. In the cylinder (22) elbows (37, 38) are provided to the holes (27, 28)'s same horizontal line and hole (29)'s, respectively with deviation of 120 degrees therebetween. The gearshift can be exactly and rapidly performed just by rotating the rotary spool of this invention. Therefore, this invention can lower the production costs and assures trouble-free operation.
