    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a gypsum/fiber board and a gypsum/fiber board prepared by the method are provided, to improve the impact resistance of a gypsum/fiber board by employing a reinforcement mesh. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing fiber, gypsum and water to prepare a wet fiber mixture; layering out a reinforcement mesh(120) on the upper surface of a forming belt; accumulating the mixture on the reinforcement mesh(120) to form a mixture layer having practically uniform consistency; pressing the mixture layer together with the reinforcement mesh to adhere the mesh onto the lower surface of the layer and to form a board which comprises a combined fiber and gypsum and contains the mesh adhered to the surface; and drying the obtained board. Preferably the mesh is not elastic and is glass fiber or textile.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are equipment and a method for manufacturing heat insulating and incombustible panels with high strength by hardening glass wool(or rock wool) panels effectively with hot air supplied from blocks. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing equipment for heat insulating panels comprises the parts of: an insert conveyor(80) for carrying cover wool or glass wool; a scutcher(70) for scutching wool into small pieces; a press(60) for forming wool pieces into a panel shape; a drying unit(40) for hardening formed panels, which contains a upper(11) and a lower(12) chain moving panels, hot blocks moving with chains, and a drying furnace(30) having a blower(33) for supplying hot air(100-220deg.C) from a hot air blower(32) to the upper and lower sides of the block through a duct(31); a cooler having a cooling fan(41) for discharging hot air inside the panels to the outside; a cutter(50) for cutting panels into an effective size; a conveyor(90) for discharging panels. The formed panels are hardened by hot air supplied from holes in hot blocks whose sides are close to the upper side and the lower side of panels, wherein the panels are moved 30-40m straight in a rate of 3-8m/min by chains during hardening.
