CONSTITUTION: A clamping device for work pieces with a scraping member is composed of a box-shaped body(10); at least one clamping member(11) protruding from front ends(12,14) of the box-shaped body; a sealing device to prevent dirt from entering through the front end of the box-shaped body and a tiltable closing member(31); and a scraping head(32) which extends between a rear longitudinal edge(11') of the clamping member and a cross edge(30) of an aperture(12') for protrusion of the clamping member. A spring(35) pressurizes the clamping member to maintain the scraping head constantly in contact with the rear edge of the clamping member during the movement.

    • PURPOSE: To surely prevent the intrusion of foreign matter into a body by mounting a release projecting part on a toggle link mechanism, and mounting a sealing means for coating the release projecting part on the body. CONSTITUTION: When the pressure fluid from a pressure fluid supply source is introduced into a cylinder chamber 28 from a pressure fluid inlet/outlet port 44a, a piston 30 is raised along the cylinder chamber 28. A linear motion of this piston 30 is transmitted to a toggle link mechanism 64 through a piston rod 32 and a knuckle joint 62, whereby an arm connected with a bearing part 18 at its basic end, is rotated through a supporting lever 74 of the mechanism 64 to clamp a work. The clamping condition is released by pressing a release projecting part 67 in the clamping, and downwardly displacing the same, and the intrusion of foreign matter from an opening 69 can be prevented by closing the opening 69 facing to the release projecting part 67 by a cap 71.
