    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for reducing particles of plastic caps are provided to remove foreign materials and sterilize drinking water without separate chemical treatment. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing particles of plastic caps comprises a conveyer belt, an ultrasonic treatment bath(40), a water washing unit(50), and an air drying unit(60). The conveyer belt consecutively transfers plastic caps(20). The ultrasonic treatment bath removes fine particles from the caps by applying ultrasonic wave to the caps. The water washing unit supplies water to wash the caps having passed through the ultrasonic treatment bath. The air drying unit supplies air to the caps having passed through the water washing unit.

The transfer member has a conveyer belt(124) for transferring the target. The wet cleaning member includes an air injector(134) for injecting a cleaning agent to the moving target, and a brush(138) cleaning the surface of the target.
