    • PURPOSE: A heating element cooling device for hybrid vehicles is provided to minimize the configuration for cooling components by integrating a radiation structure of an inverter and DC-DC converter. CONSTITUTION: A heating element cooling device for hybrid vehicles comprises a radiating unit(10) of which different heating parts installs to both sides respectively. The radiating unit comprises a cooling jacket(11), an inlet(15), and an outlet(16). The cooling jacket is formed inside the radiating unit and is formed as the flow path in which cooling medium passes by. The inlet port is formed in the cooling jacket one side and is communicated with the flow path. The cooling medium flows in the inlet. The cooling medium is exhausted through the outlet. The radiating unit is integrally formed in the housing of one or more heating part.

    • A cooler for a DC/DC converter is provided to minimize heat quantity by using a heat sink and the air by inputting the cooling wind into the case through a cooling channel connected to the heat sink. A heat radiation fin(21) is installed in a horizontal direction. An inlet and an outlet are formed in both ends of the heat radiation fin. A cooling fan(24) is installed in the outlet side of the heat radiation fin and induces a cooling wind from an inlet to an outlet. A heat sink(20) is installed in the bottom of the heat radiation fin. A power module for the DC/DC converter is attached to the bottom of the heat sink. A case(23) is installed in the bottom of the heat radiation fin to block the power module from the external air. A cooling channel(25a,25b) is slantingly formed in both sides of the heat sink to connect the cooling wind of the heat radiation fin into the inner side of a case. An overall surface of the power module is exposed to the cooling wind inputted to the inner side of the case.

    • A switching control system for a DC-DC converting apparatus is provided to decrease a size and a weight of the DC-DC converting apparatus, to improve durability of a switch, and to enhance fuel efficiency through enhancing power conversion efficiency. A switching control system for a DC-DC converting apparatus includes a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) IC(Integrated Circuit) unit(10), a control mode determination logic unit(20), and a hybrid-type PWM signal generating unit(30). The PWM IC unit outputs a PWM gate driving signal for switching operation of the DC-DC converting apparatus. The control mode determination logic unit outputs a mode selection signal for determining switching efficiency of a hard switching control mode and a soft switching control mode on the basis of an input voltage and a load current. The hybrid-type PWM signal generating unit selects one of the soft switching control mode and the hard switching control mode of a phase-shift zero voltage according to the mode selection signal outputted from the control mode determination logic unit and outputs the PWM gate driving signal corresponding to the selected mode to a switch a current converting apparatus.
