    • PURPOSE: An optical distribution device for a passive optical network is provided to connect more subscriber terminal in one optical path without enhancing an optical power output of a subscriber terminal. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first lens units(210) transforms a upstream optical signal which is respectively outputted form optical lines(131,132) connected to each optical network terminal into parallel light. The second lens unit(220) connects the parallel light respectively outputted from a plurality of first optical lens units. The second lens unit makes the connected parallel light to the optical path connected to an optical line terminal to be incident. The second lens unit transforms the downstream optical signal outputted from the optical path to the optical line terminal to a plurality of parallel lights.

    • A packet switching system for distributed processing redundancy is provided to distribute and transfer traffic load when duplicated switch devices are normal and not to transfer a packet to a switch in an abnormal status when a switch is abnormal, thereby performing switching for fast packet transmission by changing a switching selection bit field and minimizing a packet loss. A packet switching system for distributed processing redundancy comprises packet switch units(100,101), control units(102,103), and plural packet processing units(104~107). The packet switch units include at least two switches, makes the switches duplicated, receives a packet to each of the duplicated switches, and switches and outputs the packet. At least one of the control units is operated in an active mode in the packet switch units. The other of the control units is operated in a standby mode in the packet switch units. Each of the plural packet processing units are connected to each switch in the duplicated packet switch to input the packet to the packet switch units or receive the packet switched and outputted by the packet switch units.
