    • A leaf spring for a vehicle is provided to improve a driving comfort of an occupant by installing a rubber pad to absorb an impact, which is transferred to the vehicle from a road through a rear axle upon a rebounding of the vehicle. A leaf spring(100) for a vehicle comprises a first leaf spring(110) forming the uppermost side of the leaf spring, a second leaf spring(120) disposed below the first leaf spring, a third leaf spring(130) disposed under the second leaf spring, a center bolt and a U-bolt(300) that fix the first, second and third leaf springs to each other. A rubber pad(400) is installed at two sides of the third leaf spring while being projected downward. The rubber pad includes rubber materials, a steel plate, a coupling bolt passing through the center of the rubber materials and the steel plate, an upper coupling plate and a lower coupling plate that are disposed at an upper side and a lower side of the rubber pad, respectively.

    • PURPOSE: A separable double leaf spring for a freight vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce impact transmitted to a driver by dividing the leaf spring into two parts and dispersing impact transmitted to rear wheels. CONSTITUTION: In a separable double leaf spring for a freight vehicle, leaf spring devices are each divided into two parts and lower leaf springs(30,30a) are fastened with large U-shaped bolts(40,40a), a transverse support rod(42), and nuts(41). Connecting rings(24) and bolts for rings are separately formed inside spring-fastening steel materials(21). If the leaf springs are separately fastened, a jack(10) is operated by injecting air into an air injection port(13), and a push rod(12) is automatically lifted up, the leaf springs are changed into a reverse bow shape and the impact caused by an empty loading compartment is reduced by half. If the loading compartment is loaded with heavy articles, safe operation is promoted by lowering an upper leaf spring(31a) and making a push rod support(22) attached to a safety groove(23) between the large U-shaped bolts on the lower leaf spring.
