    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working gas circulation type engine adjustable the pressure of a combustion chamber properly.
      SOLUTION: The working gas circulation type engine includes: the combustion chamber 11 in which a fuel and a working gas whose specific heat ratio is higher than that of air are supplied and the working gas can inflate along with the combustion of the fuel; a circulation path 20 which circulates the gas containing the working gas from the exhaust side to the intake side of the combustion chamber 11 and can supply it to the combustion chamber 11 again; an adjusting mechanism 70 provided in the circulation path 20 and adjustable the amount of working gas supplied to the combustion chamber 11; and a control device 60 that controls the adjusting mechanism 70 to reduce the amount of working gas to be supplied to the combustion chamber 11 according to the increase in a requested torque when the demanded torque is larger than a first predetermined torque set beforehand.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change concentration of working gas supplied to a combustion chamber to a value making thermal efficiency of an internal combustion engine satisfactory. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine 10, in an embodiment, is a working gas recirculation type internal combustion engine using argon as working gas and is provided with a hydrogen supply part 40, an oxygen supply part 50, an argon supply quantity adjustment part 70 and an electric control device 80. The electric control device determines quantity of hydrogen supplied to a combustion chamber 21 based on demand torque which is torque demanded for the internal combustion engine, and determines quantity of oxygen supplied to the combustion chamber based on the determined quantity of hydrogen and supplies a combustion chamber with hydrogen and oxygen of the determined quantities with using a hydrogen supply part and an oxygen supply part. The electric control device determines quantity of working gas supplied to the combustion chamber according to demand torque and controls an argon supply quantity adjustment part to supply the combustion chamber with working gas of the determined quantity.
