SOLUTION: An upper brace has a first joint 7 firmly connected to an engine at the same height as a cylinder section of the engine, a second joint 8 firmly connected to a hull, and a connecting component 9 having constant length during continuous operation and connected to two joints so as to transmit substantially horizontal tensile force and compressive force between the engine and the hull. A friction means can roughly adjust the length of the upper brace but is held in such a way as not to change length during continuous operation. The connecting component 9 substantially impede the transmission of bending stress between two joints 7, 8 simultaneously with the transmission of tensile force and compressive force.

摘要： PURPOSE: To rotate a tubular suction shroud and an impeller to produce a pressurized water flow from an intake end to an outlet end within a housing by providing a stator with energizing means, and providing an impeller assembly or the like in the hollow part of the housing. CONSTITUTION: A housing 4 has an intake end 10 and an outlet end 12 and an annular stator 14 is provided inside the housing 4. Energizing means 18 for energizing the stator 14 is provided. An impeller assembly 20 including a tubular suction shroud 22 and an impeller 24 is freely rotatably supported within the housing 4. A rotor 26 cooperating with the suction shroud is provided around the suction shroud inside the stator 14. When the stator 14 is energized in this way, the rotor 26 rotates to thereby rotate the impeller 24 to pump water from the intake end 10 to the outlet end 12 of the housing 4. Thus, the water discharged from the outlet end 12 generates thrust which propels a vessel.

According to this, the propeller hub can be cooled.
