    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle tire heightening maneuvering stability. SOLUTION: This tire is provided with a carcass 6 of radial structure locked around bead cores of bead parts 4 after passing a side wall part 3 from a tread part 2 and provided with cords arranged being inclined at an angle of 70-90 deg. to the circumferential direction of the tire, and a belt layer 7 arranged on the radial outer side of the carcass 6 and inward of the tread part 2 and provided with cords arranged at an angle of 0-30 deg. to the circumferential direction of the tire. The carcass 6 is formed into two-layer structure in which a high modulus ply 6H with organic fiber cords 9 of high modulus HM arranged, and a low modulus ply 6L with organic fiber cords 10 of low modulus LM arranged are overlapped in the radial direction of the tire. The modulus ratio (HM/LM) of the high modulus HM and low modulus LM of the organic fiber cords is 3.8-5.2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce road noise by providing a carcass composed of one or more carcass plies and forming at least one of the carcass with a plural kind of carcass cords varied of their modulus per cord as specified by the load at the time of 5% elongation. SOLUTION: A tire 1 has a carcass 6 crossing a bead part and the interior of a tread 2 has a tenacious belt layer 7 arranged therein. The carcass 6 is formed of one or more carcass plies 6A which is arranged from the tread 2 to the bead core 5 of a bead 4 passing through a side wall 3 and folded back from the inside of a tire to the outside at the girth of the bead core 5. The carcass ply 6A is formed by using a plural kind of carcass cords D varied of their modulus per cord as specified by the load required for 5% elogation and arranging them in an angle of 70 deg. to 90 deg. with respect to the tire equator. Thus road noise can be reduced and stability of operation can be raised.
