    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost deflocculant for a slurry excellent in dispersibility and preservability by using a zeolite having monovalent cation releasing ability. SOLUTION: A slurry used in ceramic molding is prepared by using a ceramic material of 0.01-500 μm average particle diameter such as porcelain clay, kaolin feldspar, silica, powder of potsherd, alumina, sericite or talc, a solvent such as water, and a zeolite of 0.01-500 μm average particle diameter having monovalent cation releasing ability as a deflocculant. The amount of the zeolite is 0.01-20 wt.% of the amount of the ceramic material. The concentration of the ceramic material is appropriately about 50-85 wt.%. Since the deflocculant for the slurry releases monovalent cations that contribute to dispersibility in the solvent or adsorbs or ion-exchanges multivalent cations that hinder dispersion while releasing monovalent cations, the ceramic powder is efficiently dispersed in the slurry. The deflocculant is excellent also in work efficiency, and steps after the preparation of the slurry are shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To improve crack resistance and processability, by a method wherein metallic salts are added along with resin emulsion, acrylic amide series polymeric compound is added in addition to the metallic salts and a mineral series powdery and granular body, a reinforcing fiber and resin are made to contain further. CONSTITUTION:Although the title method is constituted so that metallic salts are added along with resin emulsion since the metallic salts accelerate combination of both of them by mediating between a powdery and granular body and the resin emulsion, the resin is taken into the powdery and granular body and gives actual results in relation to addition of the resin. Since the powdery and granular body bonded to the resin is made into a flock by crosslinking the same with a polyacrylamide series polymeric compound, it becomes that even a coarse mesh net can perform taking-in of the resin sufficiently effectively. While leaving behind sufficiently a merit such as fire resistance or weather resistance by the mineral series powdery and granular body of main raw materials, softness which is possessed by the resin is used sufficiently and a defect of a conventional mineral series sheet-made plate that the same is easily crackable and has bad processability is eliminated.
