    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding which can mold an elliptical container in an extremely short time. SOLUTION: This apparatus for molding an elliptical container is provided with a motor 20, a main shaft 22 being rotatably driven by driving of this motor 20, a guide rail 25 fixed on the main shaft 22, a slide member 26 being fitted on the guide rail 25 and freely slided in the length direction, a ring member 27 through which the apex end side of the main body 22 is inserted and whose center is eccentrically fixed to the main shaft 22, a sliding member 32 having the first and the second slidably contacting parts 32b and 32c being fixed on the slide member 26 and being slidably brought into contact with the outer or inner peripheral face of the ring member 27, a supporting shaft 33 fixed on the slide member 32, a mold 9 being rotated by rotating the supporting shaft 33 and on the top face of which an elliptical recessed part 9a is formed and in the recessed part 9a of which a clay being a raw material of the container is fed, and a molding plate 6 fixed in this mold 9 in facing the inner peripheral face of this mold 9 at a specified interval.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a cast molding time and mold a thick-wall piece in cast molding. CONSTITUTION:As a fine ceramic material, a material which is not more than 1mum in average particle diameter and hardly cast molded into a thick-wall molded piece is dispersed in water or an organic solvent. As a gypsum mold, a gypsum mold 1 which is machined to be cylindrical inside is used. After a predetermined amount of slurry is charged in the gypsum mold 1, the gypsum mold 1 is rotated so that a centrifugal force is applied vertically to the tangential direction of a cylinder periphery of a required molded piece. Therefore, by applying a centrifugal force vertically to the tangential line of a cylinder periphery in the cast molding of a hollow cylindrical shape, a thick-wall molded piece can be obtained in a short time. In addition, this method is not limited to a simple hollow cylindrical shape, and is applicable to, for example, a hollow cylinder with flange or step.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a cylindrical composite ceramic with strong thermal shock resistance by dispersing ceramic powders each with different specific gravity and thermal expansion coefficient in a solvent, performing sedimentation thereof by means of a centrifugal force and sintering it thereafter. CONSTITUTION:A slurry is prepd. by mixing a mixed powder of an alumina powder with a specific gravity of 3.90, a TZP powder with a specific gravity of 6.0, distilled water and a dispersing agent for ceramic oxide. A driving motor 9 is rotated and a centrifugal force is applied to the slurry in casting mold 2 by means of rotation of a rotating shaft 4 in such a way that the slurry in the casting mold 2 is not biased to a specified side face by rotation of the rotating shaft 6. After the rotation is continuously driven until the thickness of the powder particles reaches 9mm on the cylindrical wall in the casting mold 2, excess slurry is discharged and a cross section wherein the thermal expansion coefficient is continuously changed from the inside to the outside is formed and then, it is sintered. Even when a cylindrical part with thick thickness is molded, a cylindrical composite ceramic without any breakage caused by thermal shock can be obtd. and it does not need selection of the material to result in cost reduction.

    • PURPOSE:To perform demolding by a single worker by a method wherein respective molds are installed on respective pivoting bases, each of which can pivot from dorsal decubitus to ventral decubitus, and after an upper mold is separated from a lower mold with a transferring device and then the lower mold is covered with a tray, and, after that, by levelling the pivoting base onto a carrying stand, a formed material and the tray are transferred to the carrying stand. CONSTITUTION:A large number of pivoting bases 14 are arranged in line on a trestle 12. A mold 16 consisting of a lower mold 18 and an upper mold 20 is installed on each pivoting base. A transferring device is equipped with a clamping device 60, which is provided shiftably along a guide rail providing so as to stretch over the mold 16 along beams 26 and 28. Said device 60 is equipped with spreaders 64 and 64 having protrusible pins 68 and 70 on its side opposite to the mold 16. The upper mold 20 is clamped by inserting said pins in the apertures of hook fittings 22, which are attached onto the upper mold. By pivoting a lever 84 under the above-mentioned state, the upper mold 20 is lifted. Next, the transferring device is slid. After that, the lower mold 18 is covered with a tray. By pivoting a pivoting base 14, the lower mold 18 is levelled on a carrying stand 36. Finally, the pivoting base 14 is restored to its back position.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently execute casting work for powder slurry in a short time by constituting the casting apparatus for slurry of metal powder or ceramic powder with a mold clamping device liftable at upper part of the mold, a slurry pouring nozzle at lower part of the mold and a mold supporting table horizontally shiftable. CONSTITUTION:The metal powder or the ceramic powder is made to the slurry- state and charged into a tank 9 and circulated with a piping 12 from a discharging hole 15 through a returning hole 6 while being stirred with a stirring machine 2. On the way of the piping 12, a slurry discharging valve 1 is arranged, and by driving a hydraulic cylinder 19, the slurry is cast under pressurizing into the mold 27b from the nozzle 22. Plural molds 27a, 27b,..., are laid on the mold supporting tables 25a, 25b and the molds are shifted to a casting position B from a preparing position A with revolution of a motor 23 in order, and the mold 27b is clamped with the mold clamping device 18 and the slurry is cast into the mold from outlet 21 for slurry of the nozzle 22. At the preparing position A, the next mold 27a is prepared, and after completing the casting into the mold 27b, immediately the mold 27a is shifted to the B position, the casting of slurry is executed with good working efficiency in a short time.
