摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability and the maintainability of a cover for shielding a hearth opening hole part in a walking beam conveyor type heating furnace. SOLUTION: In the shield cover for the hearth opening hole part fitted to a shifting beam post penetrating the opening hole part on the hearth, the refractory-made cover body 31 having a flat surface shape of a sufficient size to shield the opening hole part on the hearth and a heat-resistant alloy-made supporting member 32 for holding the cover body 31 to a prescribed shape and also, for fitting the cover body 31 to the shifting the post 21, are provided. The supporting member 32 is composed of a fitting metal tool 33 fixed to the shifting beam post 21 with welding and a plate-like member 34 extended over almost the whole length in the cover body 31 in the longitudinal direction thereof, and the base part of the plate-like member 34 is hooked by the fitting metal tool 33.

In the inner part of the protecting sleeve 7, a slip-preventing member 77 for fixing the heat-insulating material 5 is provided so that the heat-insulating material 5 is integrally rotated with the pipe 4.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deposit-aggregation of scale detached from a steel to be heated on a skid beam in a walking beam conveyor type steel heating furnace. SOLUTION: A scale ejecting metallic material 3 is arranged between skid buttons 2, 2 fitted at a prescribed interval on a beam base body 1. The scale ejecting metallic material 3 is a heat resistant alloy-made block having a peak top ridge part 31 and inclining surface 32 at least near the top part on both side surface at the right and the left sides and a height (h) lower than the height (H) of the skid button 2. Since the scale detached from the steel is ejected to the lower part of the skid beam with the scale ejecting metallic material 3, the bulky deposit of the scale can be prevented and the carrying of the steel can be efficiently executed over the long term.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace floor hardware effective in suppressing stick- deposition of oxidized scale (causing meandering and surface flow of a steel) peeled from the steel, which is placed on a furnace floor hardware of a skid beam of a walking beam type steel heating furnace and is transferred in a furnace and is stuck/deposited over adjacent two furnace floor hardwares. SOLUTION: The furnace floor hardware 2 has at least projecting tip parts 22 in a front part/rear part of a head part side in a steel transfer direction (axial direction of beam base body 9). The head part having a tip part 22 is e.g. a hexagonal column shape. An angle of the tip part 22 is e.g. 30-150 deg.. A distance apart of the tip parts 22 adjacent furnace hardware each other is about 10-150 mm. A deposition of oxidized scale stuck over two furnace hard-wares 2, due to a shape effect of the tip part 22 of the furnace floor hardware, is fallen off from the furnace floor hardware, growth of deposition is prevented beforehand.
