    • PURPOSE: To polish articles quickly and uniformly by generating the two types of flow motion in charged articles in a barrel vessel.
      CONSTITUTION: Masses (an aggregate of articles, abrasive material, compound, water or oil etc.) are charged into a barrel 15, and its cover is closed with bolts 18. A motor 5 is next driven to rotate a driving shaft 10, a rotary frame 9 and a driven shaft 11 round the center of X-X axis, and also a barrel 15 supported on the rotary frame 9 in the same direction. A geared motor 2 with brake is driven during the above rotation to rotate the barrel 15 round the center of Y-Y axis through a center gear 13, a middle gear 27, a gear 26 and bevel gears 22, 23. Consequently the two types of high speed flow motions are generated in masses in the barrel 15 to polish articles quickly and uniformly.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve finishing of a mirror surface effectively in a short time by pivotally supporting a plurality of electrode plates along the outer circumference of the tip part of an electrode support shaft, radially opening said electrode plates up to an arbitrary angle to confront the inner face to be polished and forcing each electrode plate to make rotation and axial reciprocating slide in the electrolytic liquid. CONSTITUTION:A supportring 9 is slided axially via a link 11 by making, on an electrode support shaft 5, back and forth adjustment of an adjusting serew ring 10 coustituting an electrode opening mechanism 8, and each electrode plate L is actuated to open via each supporting rod 12. The angle of opening and holding at open position can be arbitrarily set and secured by meaus of the adjusting screw ring 10. Each electrode plate 1 is set at the optimum angle of opening to be inserted into a metal tank 17 in response to the shape and size of the inner surface 17a of the cylindrical metal tank 17 to be the target object of polishing, while the part of metal tank 17 on the positive electrode part 2 side is rendered a negative electrode and the metal tank 17 is filled with electrolytic liquid 18 including abrasive 19. Assigned voltage is applied to both electrodes and each electrode plate 1 is rotated and reciprocated in sliding in the axial direction so as to achieve effective mirror face finishing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable surface finish treatment corresponding to a material to be treated and also to effectively perform aftertreatment such as separation of the material to be treated and a treating material. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft body 8 which can be subjected to rotary driving around the central axis thereof and is supported rotatably around a horizontal axle 4 at the central part is installed. A pair of treating vessels 12 are installed at both ends thereof. A flow passage 13 for causing a treating material in one treating vessel 12 to flow into the other treating vessel 12 is installed within the rotary shaft body 8. The treating material and a material to be treated are housed in one treating vessel 12 on the lower side and treatment is performed. The rotary shaft body 8 is turned so that the one treating vessel can be located upward to cause the treating material in the one treating vessel 12 to be housed in the other treating vessel 12 through the flow passage 13. The material to be treated that is subjected to surface finish treatment remains in the one treating vessel 12 and is easily separated from the treating material and taken out.
