    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutter which is low in cost, neatly cuts a sheet without leaving an uncut portion or forming a torn portion, and has a very compact structure by minimizing the thickness of a movable blade press-contact member. SOLUTION: The sheet cutter is formed of a fixed blade having a straight blade portion formed straightly in a longitudinal direction; a movable blade having a V-shaped cutting edge opposed to the straight blade portion of the fixed blade in a manner engaging with the portion, and arranged so as to be reciprocably with respect to the fixed blade; the movable blade press-contact member for press-contacting the movable blade to the fixed blade; and a movable blade driving means for reciprocatively driving the movable blade. The movable blade press-contact member functions so as to press-contact the movable blade to the fixed blade by a compression coil spring installed in the movable blade press-contact member.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium manufacturing device in which damage of a substrate can be avoided while avoiding situation in which a center hole is formed in an eccentric state.
      SOLUTION: This device is provided with a blade part 32 for punching which is pushed in a disk type base material D1and forms a center hole 18, a supersonic wave horn 37 abutted to the disk type base material D1, an up-and-down movement mechanism 39 shifting the supersonic wave horn 37 in the direction of closing and separating for the blade of the blade part 32 for punching, a supersonic wave generating source 38 vibrating the supersonic wave horn 37 in a supersonic wave state, and a control part controlling operation of the supersonic wave generating source 38 and the up-and-down movement mechanism 39. The control part shifts the supersonic wave horn 37 in the direction of closing to the blade for the up-and-down mechanism 39 and pushes the disk type base material D1, while the control part makes the supersonic wave generating source 38 vibrate in a supersonic wave state from a point of time at which the disk type base material D1 contacts the blade edge until a point of time at which punching formation of the center hole 18 is finished.
