摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutter which is low in cost, neatly cuts a sheet without leaving an uncut portion or forming a torn portion, and has a very compact structure by minimizing the thickness of a movable blade press-contact member. SOLUTION: The sheet cutter is formed of a fixed blade having a straight blade portion formed straightly in a longitudinal direction; a movable blade having a V-shaped cutting edge opposed to the straight blade portion of the fixed blade in a manner engaging with the portion, and arranged so as to be reciprocably with respect to the fixed blade; the movable blade press-contact member for press-contacting the movable blade to the fixed blade; and a movable blade driving means for reciprocatively driving the movable blade. The movable blade press-contact member functions so as to press-contact the movable blade to the fixed blade by a compression coil spring installed in the movable blade press-contact member.
