    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a frequency domain measurement result and a demodulation domain measurement result as a time function at the same time when measuring signal power-to-distortion characteristics of a digital signal having a plurality of sub-bands.
      SOLUTION: An importing system 12 imports a time domain data that represents a digital signal. A frequency domain calculator 16 converts a time slice of the time domain data into a frequency domain data, and processes the frequency domain data to obtain a frequency domain measurement result of each time slice. A demodulation calculator 18 converts the time slice of the time domain data into a demodulation domain data, and processes the demodulation domain data to obtain a demodulation domain measurement result of each time slice. A display unit 20 displays the frequency domain measurement result and the demodulation domain measurement result as the time function in display panels 20A, 20B at the same time.

      SOLUTION: In each of the take-in devices 110, an take-in unit 113 takes in the signal to be tested, the signal to be tested is processed at a process and display 114. One of the take-in devices is defined as a main take-in device, the remainders are defined as the minor take-in devices. The main take-in device assigns the waveform of the signal to be tested which the main take-in device itself takes into a first display window, receives the waveforms of the signals to be tested which are taken in by the remained minor take-in devices and assigns their waveforms into a transparent second display window. Since these first and second displays are piled up, the first waveform and the second waveform are displayed on one display screen with piled-up state.

      SOLUTION: Analog-to-digital converters 531-534 each generates a digital sample of a signal to be tested. A trigger circuit 520 generates a trigger signal, and capturing memories 551-554 each stores the digital sample of the signal to be tested. Multiplexers 541-544 each controls the flow of the sample to the memory. Processing circuits 561-564 each tests the digital sample stored in a post capturing operation mode, and designates the range of a storing position of the memory including the data regarding a predetermined event. A system processor 670 reads the predetermined quantity of the stored digital sample from the memory in response to the event detection signal and the memory address signal, and transmits the sample for processing and displaying for the signal processing part of the oscilloscope.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the simultaneous indication of multichannel signals delivered sequentially with the same synchronous signal on the screen of a monitor by utilizing a single input terminal of the monitor such as synchroscope. A DC bias is applied sequentially to the multiplexer 9 to which bias sources (#1)10-(#n)11 are connected. Outputs (g) and (h) of the multiplexers 8 and 9 are added 12 and the output (i) gives a series repeated signal. This signal is inputted into one input terminal of a monitor 13 and above-mentioned division output (e) is handled as a trigger signal for sweeping, which enables the simultaneous indication of video signals d1-dn on one screen.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a stripe pattern or partial lack of waveform on displayed waveforms on CRT, by using a signal having incoherent frequency spectra for a signal for driving a chopper. CONSTITUTION:A signal frequency modulated with a proper signal, a PN signal, a signal modulated with a PN signal are signals having incoherent frequency spectra. When one of these signals is used for driving a chopper, interference is not caused between this signal and the sweep signal for CRT display, thus preventing occurrence of stripe patterns and partial lack of waveforms in waveforms displayed on the CRT.
