    • PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-plate type disc brake having a simple and compact automatic regulating mechanism in which a nut part is screwed on the axis as the center of the shaft so as to move it toward the pressure cam side. CONSTITUTION:A nut part 51 screwed with the threaded portion 11d of a shaft 11 has a body 51a having a spline 51b on its periphery, and a spring holder 52 is screwed with the threaded portion 11d so as to cover the body 51a. In the inside of the spring holder 52, an annular spring guide 55 sprung rotationally by a spring 54 is provided. The inside spline 55a of the spring guide 55 is engaged with the spline 51b and the nut part 51 is screwed so as to move it toward the pressure cam 12 side, whereupon a plate 34 to be pressurized is moved toward the pressure plate 31 side under a fixed pressure all the time.
