    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank shaft improved to transmit relative great torque while avoiding defects due to known arrangement, by using easy and cost advantageous means.
      SOLUTION: To solve the above issue, the crank shaft includes a conical body 9 formed tapered in view from the inserting direction, where a front region of an engaging strut 5 in view from the inserting direction is connected to the rear region of the engaging strut, and a stopper ring 10 mounted thereon for preventing the axial movement of the engaging strut relative to a crank web 1. The conical body follows the rear region of the engaging strut, and so there is no need for stepwise dimensional adjustment of the engaging strut and a crank web hole corresponding thereto. As a result, a clearance may not be formed to assure reliable shrinkage joint over the total length of the engaging strut. The average diameter of the conical body is basically larger than the diameter of the front end. This is advantageous in achieving transmission torque.

      【解決手段】本考案の自動車エンジン用クランクシャフトAは、夫々の軸線を段違い状に配置したジャーナル1とピン2とを、アーム3を介して連結している。 ジャーナル1及びピン2は中空軸状で、軸端に連結軸4,5をそれぞれ延設し、アーム3は、クランクシャフトの回転を円滑にするためのバランサー部分3aが一体に形成されるとともに連結軸4,5が嵌合する嵌込用軸孔6,7が設けられている。 連結軸4,5の外周面と嵌込用軸孔の内周面6,7は、密嵌状態で嵌合する円錐面に形成され、ジャーナル1とピン2にはリング状の軸受が夫々外挿されている。 連結軸4,5は該嵌込用軸孔に焼きバメにより合体されている。

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankshaft capable of transmitting relatively large torque with a simple, cost-saving means while avoiding defects caused by a conventional arrangement.
      SOLUTION: The crankshaft comprises: a means for connecting a front range of a connecting strut 5 with a rear range of the connecting strut by looking through an inserting direction; a means for forming a tapered conical body 9 by looking through the inserting direction; and a means for mounting a stop ring 10 so as to prevent axial movement of the connecting strut along its axial direction against a crank web 1. The conical body is continued to the rear range of the connecting strut in the crankshaft, and therefore, both the connecting strut and a crank web hole corresponding to the connecting strut are not necessary to adjust their sizes step by step. Contracting combination can be surely guaranteed along the full length of the connecting strut without fear of any gap between them. An average diameter of the conical body is basically greater than the diameter at an edge of the front portion, and it becomes one of advantages regarding attainable transmitting torque.
