    • PURPOSE:To enhance the boarding and alighting ability of a vehicle body without deteriorating the stability and aerodynamic characteristic of the vehicle body, by elevatably assembling the rear section of a front body carrying front wheels to the front section of a rear body carrying rear wheels through the intermediary of a lift mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A body 1is divided into a front body 3 carrying front wheels 2 and a rear body 4 carrying rear wheels 4. Further, the rear section of the front body 3 is assembled to the front section of the rear body 5 through the intermediary of a lift mechanism 6. This lift mechanism 6 is composed of guide rails 7 arranged in the front section of the rear body 6 in the vertical direction, lift rollers 8 fixed to the lower rear section of the front body 3 and slidably engaged with the guide rails 7, a cylinder 8 having a cylinder tube 9a longitudinally rotatably attached to the lower section of the rear body 5 and an actuating rod 9b which is attached at its front end to the upper section of the front body 3, and a hydraulic motor 10 as a drive source of the cylinder 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile body structure causing little damage on an opening-closing panel by movement of a cargo loaded on a loading space. SOLUTION: A step part 20 restrains a direct collision with the opening- closing panel 6 of the cargo X loaded on the loading space 4. A reinforcing material 32 restrains a curve of the opening-closing panel 6 due to the moment around a colliding position of the opening-closing panel 6 caused by the collision. A support means 34 elastically regulates forward movement of a prescribed part of a rotary shaft 12 caused by the collision. Thus, this automobile body structure can restrain damage of the opening-closing panel 6 by using the step part 20, the reinforcing material 32 or the support means 34.
