    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter which has peripheral components such as a cooling system component and a powertrain component efficiently and compactly arranged around an engine while improving cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter includes an engine 5 which is mounted in a traveling machine body, a transmission case 6 which changes a speed of power of the engine 5, and a seedling planting device which is attached to the traveling machine body. A suction fan for air-cooling the engine is provided on one lateral surface of the engine 5. The engine 5 is arranged between machine body frames 50 so as to downwardly protrude from both of the machine body frames 50. An air duct 84 for allowing the passage of cooling air from a suction fan is arranged above the machine body frames 50, and on the other lateral surface, on the side opposite to the suction fan, of the engine 5. An upper exhaust air trunk 85 of the engine 5 is formed by the air duct 84, and a section below the machine body frames 50 on the side of the other lateral surface of the engine 5 is configured as a lower exhaust air trunk 86 of the engine 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle which prevents an increase in temperature of a muffler, by rationally using cooling wind used for cooling a belt continuously-variable transmission.SOLUTION: The work vehicle includes a variable-speed case 64 which accommodates a driving pulley 61, a driven pulley 62, and an endless belt 63 which is wound around the pulleys. The variable-speed case 64 is configured to introduce cooling wind and discharge it from an exhaust duct 68 of a discharge section 64F. The work vehicle includes a horizontally-long muffler 40 whose longitudinal direction is located along a vehicle body horizontal direction, at the back side of the vehicle body. The direction of discharging the cooling wind from the exhaust duct 68 is set so that the cooling wind from the exhaust duct 68 is blown against the muffler 40 from a direction orthogonal to the muffler 40.
