    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a reinforcing structure capable of exhibiting high bearing strength against a side impact of a vehicle and exhibiting high impact absorption against a longitudinal impact, in a seat back frame.SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat, a connecting rod 4b and an operation shaft 4a are laid in an integrally-connected state between both right and left side parts of the seat back frame. The connecting rod 4b and the operation shaft 4a, the mutual connection parts of which assume uneven shapes to be fitted to each other in the back and forth direction of the seat, are kept in the state of surface-abutting on each other in the back and forth direction of the seat and the width direction thereof by insertion of a pin 4c, and function as a reinforcing member by maintaining the state of being straight in the width direction of the seat even when subjected to an impact force from the lateral direction of the seat due to the occurrence of the side impact and the like of the vehicle. On the other hand, the connecting rod 4b is displaced in such a manner as to be separated from the operation shaft 4a to the rear side of the seat while deforming the pin 4c, by undergoing an impact force from the front of the seat due to the occurrence of the back impact and the like of the vehicle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a rotation stop mechanism for a gear train so as to avoid applying a load to a plurality of gears. SOLUTION: A stopper structure stopping the rotation of a first gear 40 constituting the gear train is arranged between the first gear 40 and a body case 10. The stopper structure includes an internal gear 90 integrated with the body case 10, an external gear 80 rotating internally contacting and engaging with the internal gear 90, a rotational cam 70 pressing the external gear 80 from the inner periphery side and pressingly rotating the external gear 80 along the inner periphery of the internal gear 90 to the direction changing the engagement position by rotation, and a locking structure arranged between the external gear 80 and the body case 10. The rotational cam 70 rotates around an axis concentric with and integrally with the first gear 40, and presses the external gear 80 from the inner periphery side to the direction where the external gear 80 is made eccentric. The external gear 80 abuts on the locking structure by the movement of engaging with and rotating relative to the internal gear 90, and the rotation of the first gear 40 relative to the body case 10 is made in a locked state.
