    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control overcurrent of a motor caused by generation of an informing sound from an AC motor in a vehicle with the AC motor controlled by the PWM control.SOLUTION: A control device 30 includes a PWM control unit 200 that executes PWM control over an AC motor M1 mounted on a vehicle. The PWM control unit 200 includes an alarm sound generation processing unit 241 and a slip determination unit 242. The slip determination unit 242 determines whether a drive wheel coupled to the motor is slipping on the basis of a d-axis current Id, a q-axis current Iq, a d-axis voltage command value Vd and a q-axis voltage command value Vq of the motor M1. When the drive wheel is not slipping, the alarm sound generation processing unit 241 generates an alarm sound from the motor M1 by adding a variation value ΔV to the d-axis voltage command value Vd at a predetermined interval. When the drive wheel is slipping, the alarm sound generation processing unit 241 temporarily stops adding the variation value ΔV to the d-axis voltage command value Vd.
