    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension for a vehicle capable of reducing the weight of a vehicle while maintaining the durability against collision in the rear, reducing a load applied to a vehicle body by a lateral force, and securing under-steer characteristic during cornering.
      SOLUTION: This suspension is equipped with a carrier 10 for rotatably supporting a wheel 1, trailing arms 20 each having a front end 21 rotatably engaged with the vehicle body and a rear end 22 engaged to the carrier 10, an upper arm 30 engaged to the carrier 10 above an axle 2 of the wheel 1, and a lower arm 40 engaged to the carrier 10 below the axle 2 of the wheel 1. Each of the upper arm 30 and the lower arm 40 extends in the vehicle width direction, and are engaged to the carrier 10 in the rear of the axle 2 of the wheel 1. The pair of right and left trailing arms 20 are coupled to a vehicle-width-direction coupling member 50 extending in the vehicle width direction, each being equipped with an engagement part 60 for bendably engaging with the carrier 10 to the trailing arms 20 in the vehicle width direction.
