    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate influence by a tread outer surface for precisely centering a tire 22 to support rims 15 and 21. SOLUTION: Radial direction inside end positions of a bead part 23 in the tire 22 are detected from four points separated in the circumference direction by means of a photoelectric sensor 91, and based on the detection result and positional information of the photoelectric sensor 91, a difference between the center axis of the tire 22 and the center axis of a pair of support rims 15 and 21 is found. The bead part 23 in the tire 22 as a target of the inside end position detection is hardly affected in dimension and shape even by a long-term travel (use), so that the difference can be found with high precision.
