    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic lens manufacturing device which is compact and operates highly efficiently.
      SOLUTION: This plastic lens manufacturing device comprises a rotary table 2 which orbitally conveys a molding tool M with a plastic composition injected therein; an irradiation area A2 of an actinic radiation which is set up in such a way that the actinic radiation is exposed to the molding tool M within the range of a specified angular level while the molding tool M mounted on the rotary table 2 makes a single round of rotation; a servo motor 3 which rotatably drives a rotating shaft 32 of the rotary table 2; and a controller 4 which controls the driving of the servo motor 3 so as to realize the exposure of the actinic radiation to the molding tool M from an ultraviolet lamp 61(51) as long as it is required, in the irradiation area A2 of the actinic radiation. The molding tool M supplied from a supply/discharge area A1, is irradiated with an ultraviolet light in the exposure area A2 by intermittently rotating the rotary table 2 every 60°in a counterclockwise rotation, then is slowly cooled in an annealing area A3 and returned again to the supply/discharge area A1 and discharged.
