    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle branching system capable of eliminating the confirmation time for point switching and time-lag of switching.
      SOLUTION: When a vehicle position is positioned at this side more than a branched part, a stepping surface 3b of a wheel 3 is placed on a rail as shown in Fig.(a). Further, when the wheel 3 travels to the point part, flange parts 3a of the left and right wheels 3 ride up on flange way parts 4 and the stepping surface 3b is separated from the rail 1 as shown in Fig.(b). By riding up on the flange way parts 4, restriction in the traveling direction of the vehicle by the rail is eliminated. A driver or a computer determines whether the vehicle linearly advances along a roadway A or turns along a roadway B and steers the wheel by a mechanism mentioned later.
