摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle branching system capable of eliminating the confirmation time for point switching and time-lag of switching.
SOLUTION: When a vehicle position is positioned at this side more than a branched part, a stepping surface 3b of a wheel 3 is placed on a rail as shown in Fig.(a). Further, when the wheel 3 travels to the point part, flange parts 3a of the left and right wheels 3 ride up on flange way parts 4 and the stepping surface 3b is separated from the rail 1 as shown in Fig.(b). By riding up on the flange way parts 4, restriction in the traveling direction of the vehicle by the rail is eliminated. A driver or a computer determines whether the vehicle linearly advances along a roadway A or turns along a roadway B and steers the wheel by a mechanism mentioned later.

SOLUTION: A method of controlling a steering actuator 4 to be operated by an electrical command and provided between a vehicle body 2 and a bogie frame 1 of each of two bogies fitted to a front part and a rear part of the vehicle body 2 is structured so as to work in the rotating direction freely to rotate between the vehicle body and the bogies in the curving direction of a curve when passing through a curved section. As a command voltage to the actuator 4, a value obained by adding the amount of friction resistance compensation, which is obtained by multiplying a direction (code) of any one of curvature speed, angular velocity of the bogie and speed of the actuator, by the friction force F c of the actuator 4 itself, which is previously measured, is used. As a result, the outer rail side lateral pressure to be applied to a leading wheel axle when passing through a curved section can be reduced, and a reliable actuator can be realized at low cost. Therefore, gravity restoring forces F1, F2 generated by wheel loads P1, P2 are directed outward in relation to the rail. Accordingly, when displacement in a yaw direction occurs, the gravity restoring forces F1, F2 generate a moment M, to a center O1 of the truck, in a direction in which to cancel the displacement in the yaw direction.
