    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, which uses a mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol and improves starting performance at a low temperature.SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine includes: a heat storage tank 32 for storing warm cooling water (hot water) in a condition of keeping warm while the internal combustion engine 10 is sufficiently warmed up; a water pump for heat storage 30 for supplying the hot water stored in the heat storage tank 32 into a refrigerant passage formed in the internal combustion engine 10; a fuel property sensor 44 for obtaining the alcohol concentration of the mixed fuel; and a controller for performing preheat treatment where the internal combustion engine 10 before starting is warmed up by driving the water pump for heat storage 30 when a request for cold start of the internal combustion engine 10 is issued. The controller is set so that a supply flow rate of the hot water becomes a large quantity as the alcohol concentration is higher. The supply flow rate of the hot water is set to be a large quantity during an initial period of the preheat treatment while the flow rate is set smaller than that in the initial period during the later period.
