    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform blanking efficiently while making a device comparatively compact and cost effective and to suppress the deflection deformation of an iron core piece at the time of blanking, even if comparatively large iron core pieces are blanked from a raw material of a magnetic steel sheet.
      SOLUTION: A flat mounting surface 12a, on which the raw material of the magnetic steel sheet 14 precut into an annular shape is set to a positioning-fixed state, is provided on the top surface of a disk-shaped receiving die 12. A rotation drive mechanism is provided which rotates the receiving die 12 around its center O as the center of rotation in the direction of an arrow A. A cutting roller 13 of a conical shape is provided on top of the receiving die 12 in such a way as to be rotatable freely around the axial line X and to be pressed onto the mounting surface 12a. Protruding cutting blades 15 of a shape which blanks out a plurality of slot 2 portions from the raw material of the magnetic steel sheet 14 are provided on the outside circumferential surface of the cutting rollers 13. The cutting roller 13 is driven in the direction of an arrow B synchronizing with the rotation of the receiving die 12 in the direction of the arrow A. A plurality of slot 2 portions are blanked out by the cutting blades 15 in the circumferential direction one by one from the raw material of the magnetic steel sheet 14.

      SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a delivery device for delivering a steel plate blank 23 at a required speed by uncoiling the coil of a belt shape magnetic steel plate to be used as the blank material of the iron core element; a cutting-off device 28 in which a cutter roller 29 having a cylindrical shape and projecting cutting edges 29a formed on its outer circumferential surface so as to have a shape corresponding to the shape of the iron core element to be manufactured, and a receiving roller 30 having a cylindrical shape and a smooth outer circumferential surface are arranged such that their outer circumferential surfaces are brought into contact with each other, and the steel plate blank 23 delivered between both rollers 29, 30 by turning both rollers 29, 30 toward opposite directions is gripped and drawn, and the iron core element is cut off by cutting the steel plate blank 23 by the projecting cutting edges 29a of the cutter roller 29; and a storage box for storing the cut-off iron core elements. In this case, the diameter D of the receiving roller 30 is determined so as to be 720 times or more of the thickness t of the steel plate blank 23.
